Delicious Dutch Stroopwafels Stroopwafels are a Dutch pastry that consists of two thin wafers filled with a caramel-like syrup. The syrup is made from melted sugar, butter, and spices. The wafers are usually made from flour, butter, yeast, and milk. To make stroopwafel caramel, the first step is to make the syrup. The sugar is melted in a saucepan over low heat. Once the sugar has melted, the butter is added and stirred until it is fully incorporated. Then, the spices are added and the mixture is cooked for a few minutes longer. Next, the wafers are made. The flour, butter, yeast, and milk are combined in a bowl and mixed until a dough forms. The dough is then divided into two pieces and each piece is rolled out into a thin sheet. The sheets of dough are then placed on a baking sheet and baked for a few minutes until they are golden brown. Once they are out of the oven, they are immediately filled with the syrup. The final step is to enjoy your delicious stroopwafel caramel!Cut the butter and chocolate into small cubes in a heatproof bowl, sit it over a pan of barely simmering water and allow the chocolate and butter to melt, stirring occasionally. Leave it to cool at room temperature. Once the dough is mixed, remove it from the mixer, shape it into a ball and wrap it with plastic wrap. Let the dough rest at room temperature for 30-45 minutes. Step 3: Prepare the filling
