I am biased because pictures are what makes or breaks a book for me so I love this book and all of the other ones by this author/illustrator.

Treatment of venous disease: laser treatment, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), glue (cyanoacrylate), foam sclerotherapy, microinjection sclerotherapy of leg spider veins, Veinwave of facial thread veins. They can follow along with the text as it is read, while being exposed to what a fluent reader sounds like.The illustrations are bright and colorful with a vaguely 50's look and a great deal of energy, as well as subtle jokes. There are little hidden things throughout the book that children can spot that maybe forshadow the bears hunt for the marshmallows. Chris Van Dusen is definitely near the very top of my list of favorite illustrators ever and in this book he's at his best. As the book is read aloud, the text is highlighted, allowing a child to follow along and read to himself or herself.

As stated above, we used this book to learn some vocabulary words that some of the students didn't know. Magee and his trusty dog, Dee, are enjoying a peaceful camping trip when all of a sudden they find themselves plunging down a mountain and teetering on the edge of a huge waterfall! Magee and his loyal sidekick Dee are probably my twins' most loved pair of characters from all of the books we read. Great pacing keeps the story moving even though it's long, and manages to have age appropriate thrills as well as some classic camping scenes. Fun, definitely worth a read if you're trying to get psyched for camping, and seems like it would be a good early reader too. Magee and Dee leave home bright and early to learn how to ski - but a run-in with a moose finds them flying through the air and suspended a hundred feet above an abyss! TumbleBooks allows for an extension of learning too by providing a section in which a child can take a quiz after reading or create a book report to check for comprehension. Okay, I've done a fair amount of camping, though very little with an RV, but even I know you usually unhook the camper and definitely block the wheels!Trying to reach a bag of marshmallows, the bear unhitches the camper, which rolls down into the river and stops on a ledge above the waterfall.
