The C02 is definitely a great option that you should consider, and for the price, I think that it’s on of the best, or the best stereo pair you can get. What comes in the Box? If you’re looking for an alternative, the Samson C02 is very similar to the Behringer C-2. Although you do get a pair of mics along with two mic stands and XLR cables, they are almost double the price, don’t feature a hardshell case, and, most importantly, they won’t provide you with the audio quality that the C-2 will. Conclusion They are an ideal addition to the smaller or home studio. Giving you an audio performance that is more than acceptable at a very affordable price point. But also with a variety of options for how and where you use them.

A switchable 20 dB attenuation pad in each mic allows you to use the pair with loud instruments, doing so with a favorable signal-to-noise ratio. I think this microphone is good in terms of what you get for the money. They sound great and don’t color the sound at all.

Incredible Value with This Stereo Pair!

Just like with the Monoprice mics I think that these are just excellent, always taking the price into account. Pros

This microphone comes inside an amazing wooden box and inside this box you get the microphone and not just the cardioid capsule but also the Hypercardioid and Omnidirectional ones included. Lastly, the Rode M5 doesn’t come with a PAD or a High-Pass filter, which is actually quite common in small diaphragm condenser microphones in this price range. How does it sound? It can be a good thing if you want to add a bit of natural depth to a vocal to give it some warmth. If you don’t need the extra bass, just move the mic away from the subject a small distance. You might have to try different positions until you get the sound you want. Some Numbers The case where they come in is not that great! If you really want to care for the mics and capsules properly you should get a sturdier pelican case. They have a tighter polar pattern. I've heard conflicting information but I believe they are indeed supercardiod. This is actually why I don't use them as drum overheads. They sound great on cymbals but I didn't care for stereo field. I record in a tighter space and that is definitely a factor. They'd make a great hihat mic, I just didn't have the extra preamp for it. compared with two to four times more expensive, of Rode NT5 ( https://www.gearslutz.com/board/attachments/gear-shoot-outs-sound-file-comparisons-audio-tests/124929d1244972790-six-cardio-sdc-pairs-grand-piano-1.mp3 ), The Oktava MK-012 cardio ( https://www.gearslutz.com/board/attachments/gear-shoot-outs-sound-file-comparisons-audio-tests/124930d1244972790-six-cardio-sdc-pairs-grand-piano-2.mp3 ) And the Audio-Technica AT4041 ( https://www.gearslutz.com/board/attachments/gear-shoot-outs-sound-file-comparisons-audio-tests/127126d1246482748-six-cardio-sdc-pairs-grand-piano-5.mp3 )dropoff Window The storage case isn’t the best you’ve ever seen, but it will do the job nicely and keep the microphone safe. Collection and delivery costs are included for the first 2 years in the event of an item becoming faulty

I'm not really a "small condenser" guy, though, so if you're someone who uses small condensers for 99% of your work, you may want to invest in a pair of Neumanns or Telefunkens. I mostly use ribbons and large diaphragm mics like 90% of the time, and I only pull out small condensers once in a while. Usually for acoustic guitar. These mics are perfect for someone like me, who just needs a utility mic with a very flat response without breaking the bank. I'd sooner break the bank for a LDC or nice drum cymbal. Anyways thats my rationale, and I'm sure there are plenty of others who feel the same way. The M5 sounds just like a more expensive microphone, but the actual microphone capsule is not replaceable. You might have some trouble if it breaks. You also don’t have a high-pass switch, nor does the actual mic come with any storage or transport box. The Samson C02 is a great option if you don’t want to spend too much or if you don’t have any experience with pencil microphones and just want to try them out. The one thing that I would say you need to be careful with is the mic clip, it’s a simple plastic one and not really of the best quality.Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. is a subsidiary of Meta Platforms, Inc. based in the USA. It cannot be ruled out that your data collected by Facebook will also be transmitted to the USA. Established in 1980, they started from humble beginnings. They have now created a productive niche for themselves in the budget range microphone market. These days there are three companies, Samson Audio, Samson Wireless, and Hartke amplification. The latter being amps and cabinets for bass guitars. In this post, I will list some of the best budget “matched pair or stereo pair” small-diaphragm condenser microphones out there which will allow you to record music at a top-notch level without spending too much. The Cardioid pattern is great for studio use. This is because they are not as sensitive as other patterns, such as omnidirectional, to the reflection of sound in the room. However, that doesn’t mean that you don’t need to pay attention to the acoustics of the room just because you have a Cardioid pattern. But that is another discussion. The Target Source

You should get an instant answer on whether your application has been successful, though in some rare cases Klarna or V12 may need to look at the application in more detail.

They service 140 countries with over 250 products, and so expansion has been significant. They have achieved this by producing a product that has good quality and serves a basic function. Judging by the technical spec, the mic is reasonably sensitive at -40dBV/Pa (which equates to 10mV/Pa) and its noise level of 22dBA, while far from the state of the art, is quiet enough for most close-miking applications. I wouldn't recommend it for recording quieter sounds or for working at a distance, but then that's clearly not its intended application. The manufacturer's recommendations suggest the mic is good for drum overheads, piano, acoustic guitar, and hi-hat — none of which are over-quiet when heard at close quarters. This microphone has a really good-looking green finish with its brand and model number written in gold on the front. This microphone isn’t as well known as the others on this list, but it’s definitely a good choice to take into consideration. These are microphones for indoor use. And if you have a home or a small studio, then they are going to do a decent job. Overheads on drums, especially cymbals, are going to record well, as well as capturing a good room sound, as long as what they are capturing is loud enough to not cause issues due to the high self-noise factor. Lastly, just like with the Rode M5, the Samson C02 doesn’t come with a PAD or a High-Pass filter. How does it sound?
